I just received my new stash of Amy Butler fabrics and patterns!I'm going to try my hand at making the stash and dash bags and the Frenchy bag; all would prove useful during my upcoming travels.
I've read that Amy's patterns are simple and straight forward. I love her fabric collections; right now, the Nigella collection is my favorite with its juxtaposed earth tones and bright colors.
My current projects will be made with fabrics from the Lotus collection. Click on the above picture for a close up of the fabrics.
Heather Bailey also has a collection, Freshcut, that lends itself beautifully to little girl's clothing. She posts free patterns on her blog.
