This evening, I was fortunate enough to receive a visit from a friend (and his fiancee!) whom I've known upward of 13 years. He is a German National and has been quite helpful in the translation arena! The kiddos were immediately won over as Stephan and his fiancee brought hefty goody bags filled with an assortment of sugary candies for each of them. I can't wait until he has children so I can repay the kindness ;)
It's so nice to have a friend nearby! Things are on an upward swing!
