Littlest opted to participate in cheerleading again this quarter despite J's insistence that it isn't a sport (at least not at this age). Unlike last year, this year's uniform consisted of a top and shorts which really didn't suit Littlest as she prefers a skirt; after all, a skirt is perfect for twirling. We won't even discuss the uniform's colors (no pink to be had).
Littlest enjoyed cheering for the soccer season and learned several new cheers including the one below:
The cookie monster says that our team is
the really big cookie at the top of the jar.
The cookie monster says that your team is
the itty bitty crumbs at the bottom of the jar.
I suppose that to four and five year olds nothing could be worse than being the itty bitty crumbs: supreme insult!
