No pictures today.
It's been an exhausting week. In fact, I think it's the exhaustion that has contributed to our flu downfall to which I've become the latest victim (hence, no pictures).
After a busy week that included J's Christmas formal dinner cruise on the Rhein, a holiday dinner with our German friends (rouladen, beet and cabbage salad, potato dumplings, a vegetarian course for me, and a magenta colored dessert of which I'm still unsure), the activities that come with school drawing to a close for break (teacher gifts and a class gift exchange) and a birthday party (Littlest's classmate), I'm content to rest, eat Giada's Tuscan White Bean and Garlic Soup and nibble on the "Get Well" cake that my neighbor baked and delivered this afternoon.
More to follow when I'm not suffering from the effects of medicine head.
