Homecoming was 3 October, and Bop chose to go to the dance with girlfriends (sigh of relief). One of the few benefits of attending a rather small school is that the dating pool is of a piddling size. More often than not, students attend functions in groups. In fact, the students tend to stay in groups of girls and groups of boys, and that's a-okay with us!
She cleans up nice! Because she's so stinking tall, Bop wore flats to the dance; however, thanks to volleyball and basketball, she's come to embrace her amazonian height and is wearing three inch heels to winter formal. My baby will be a distinguished 6 feet 2 inches tall :)
Students also had the opportunity to dress up during spirit week, the week preceding homecoming. The theme of the week pertained to decades, and Little Man dressed up everyday. He's always been so reserved that it still shocks me when he emerges from his shell. Bop told me that he danced so heartily at the dance that he had to sit out to catch his breath! She videoed it, but he FORBID me to post it. Incidentally, lederhosen make up part of his regular wardrobe rotation.
Can you guess this decade?
