Helsinki was likely our least favorite spot. The city itself was something of a shopping mecca, but we did enjoy our cruise of the outlying islands. If we return to Finland, then we'd probably head north to Lapland and skip the capital.
Kids in front of the Three Smiths statue. I personally would not want to hammer in the nude, but to each his own!
We went in to Stockmann, a high end department store, to go to an ATM and ended up perusing its gourmet food hall that has been compared to Harrod's. Littlest thought this fruit smoothie's label was funny.

The German Church
Helsinki Cathedral
On our cruise, we were told not to stand and you can see why! The houses on the outlying islands were quite large and many featured a sauna at the water's edge.
Helsinki Cathedral is a Lutheran church. Once inside, the church is rather plain.
