Double Digits

Where does the time go?  My baby is 10 years old!  Since we do friend parties every other year, this year was an off one for Littlest.  For the off years, we typically allow the kids to take a trip of their choosing so long as it's not overly extravagant.  Because she'd finished the Harry Potter books, she asked to go to the studios outside of London.  J had to work so wasn't able to come, but the kids and I had a wonderful weekend in London.

She asked to have a pumpkin layered dessert as her birthday cake, and we couldn't resist using the European birthday candle!
While in London, we saw a show on the West End; visited the studios, took a river cruise, and ate at the kids' favorite restaurants.  Though it wasn't on Littlest's itinerary, Mama snuck in a visit to the National Gallery!  One of the most memorable aspects of the trip was our hotel stay.  A man across the hall from us stayed up all hours wailing.  The kids dubbed him 'Caspar' because he made ghost-like noises.
