Capitalism 101

Littlest, Bop and Little Man hatched a plan to pad their allowance jars during a recent neighborhood-wide yard sale. They each invested an equal amount of their savings and purchased ready-to-bake cookies and a tin of hot chocolate which they sold to hungry and cold customers. Bop had an engagement during the hours of the yard sale and wasn't available to help run the stand. Beyond her initial investment, Littlest didn't help much with running the stand and soliciting customers. She preferred to play with her Barbies indoors while Little Man endured the cold all in the name of capitalism. J made the kids do a business plan and talked to them about profit margins. At the end of the day, the kiddos netted a nice little profit of around $15 each. Bop plans to put her earnings toward a pair of roller blades while Littlest and Little Man haven't quite decided what to do with their earnings.
